In your new role you will:
Must be able to work a compressed night shift (12hrs; 3 days on,4
days off, followed by 4 days on 3 days off)
Responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on
Semiconductor Test And Measurement equipment daily.
Ability to dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment
according to layout plans, operating or repair manuals, and/or
rough sketches or drawings.
Uses test and diagnostic equipment including multimeter,
temperature probes and oscilloscopes to perform equipment repairs
and verifications.
May perform equipment modifications as directed by
test/manufacturing engineering.
Use oscilloscope, digital voltmeters and test box to calibrate
system and ensure outputs are at predetermined levels
Troubleshoot and repair peripheral equipment such as Sort testers,
probers and ovens Associate's with test systems.
Work with engineers in defining area of systems malfunctions.
Deal with manufacturing representatives on diagnosing specific
systems problems and requisitioning parts.
Train and assists lower-level technician's
Perform other duties as assigned
Test Equipment Maintenance Technician: Performs electrical,
mechanical or software troubleshooting to determine problems in
non-functioning test equipment.
Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. May
perform equipment modifications as directed by test/manufacturing
engineers.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Associate's degree in electronics technology/science or equivalent
certification.
A minimum of three years of directly related experience and
extensive knowledge of troubleshooting and hardware repairs of
several different electronic systems.
