Job Description:

This position is responsible for developing and coordinating various project control activities for project management teams working with public and private clients within public infrastructure, land development, and transportation service lines. The Project Controls Specialist will be focused on collecting, analyzing, and managing relevant project data for the purposes of tracking progress, controlling schedule, change management, budgeting, and forecasting across all project activities.

  Establish, maintain, and update project financial data and transactions
  
  
• 
  Interface with internal staff and clients for invoicing and cost tracking purposes, to include review and determination that billing and/or invoicing is in accordance with current contract terms and is consistent with client requirements

  Maintain and support project schedules and schedule development
  
  
• 
  Participate in the preparation and maintaining of scope change management
  
  
• 
  Participate in risk and quality management processes and procedures
  
  
• 
  Assist the team with completing and maintaining key project management reports to include monthly, standard, budget/costs, and KPI measurement reports
  
  
• 
  Maintain and monitor the flow of project information while ensuring proper document control functions are being performed
  
  
• 
  Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts; Business, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred
  
  
• 
  5+ years of professional project controls experience
  
  
• 
  General understanding of project management methodology
  
  
• 
  Knowledge of planning, scheduling, cost controls, and project reporting preferred
  
  
• 
  Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera scheduling software preferred
  
  
• 
  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  
  
• 
  Advanced Excel Skills
  
  
• 
  Advanced SharePoint Skills
  
  
• 
  Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
