Benefits and Compliance specialist to join our growing team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mange the benefit administration for all benefit plans
(medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary plans such as
pet insurance, FSA, HSA, 401(k), COBRA, etc.)
- Act as a liaison between the employees, third party
administrators, and benefit vendors
- Handle the company's ACA compliance, including the issuing of
1095 forms
- Facilitate open enrollment process in conjunction with
insurance broker
- Process any enrollment changes, including qualifying life
events
- Coordinate employee leave of absences in compliance with laws
and company policies
- Reconcile monthly employee paid benefit billings to payroll
records; calculate and submit payment for company benefits
- Resolve benefit or payroll discrepancies with carriers and
employee inquiries
- Collaborate with payroll team to ensure that employee benefit
contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and
in a timely manner
- Work closely with the People Experience team to assist in
improving and assuring adherence to processes, policies, and
legislation by staying abreast of all applicable legal and
regulatory requirements affecting HR activities
- Provide support and advise to all Stakeholders within the
business on People Matters
- Support the Employee life cycle from start to finish ensuring
all employees have a positive experience
- Management of a sector of employees
- Ensure all employees have a positive experience within the
organization
- Create and maintain strong working relationships with all
stakeholders
- Responsible for business partnering with specific sectors
across the business
- Review and implement HR processes and policies in line with
current legislation and other business changes
- Assist in the offboarding process of employees where
needed
- Managing Employee Relations cases, including Disciplinary and
Grievances
- Coordinate and assist with the Performance Management
Process
- Act as a point of contact for managers, employees, and other HR
team members
- Deal with various HR queries throughout the business
Requirements
-
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in Human Resources with
emphasis on Benefits, generalist functions, employee relations, and
labor laws required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite applications including Word,
Excel, and Outlook required
- Knowledge of immigration laws and processes preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related
discipline preferred
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Ability to provide rapid, accurate response to confidential
requests
- Sense of ownership to complete assigned tasks with minimal
supervision
- High level of demonstrated verbal and written communication
skills
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Must take initiative and be self-directed
- Excellent people management skills
- High attention to detail and time management
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to adapt to changing operational needs and priorities.

- A Competitive pay, the salary range for the role is $70,000 -
