What you will do

  Create maintenance schedules and generate work orders
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with Supply Chain to maintain parts inventory
  
  
• 
  Create maintenance manuals that proceduralize common work tasks
  
  
• 
  Estimate costs of labor and material for planned work
  
  
• 
  Adjust schedules to account for unexpected emergency work
  
  
• 
  Assist and support the asset management team and the transmission system maintenance managers
  
  
• 
  Serve as a liaison between operations and supply chain services
  
  
• 
  Maintain records and files essential to maintenance management
  
  
• 
  Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and external vendors
  
  
• 
  Prepare preventive and corrective maintenance plans that are aligned with the organization's maintenance goals
  
  
• 
  Manage contractual relationships to with key service providers
  
  
  We want you on our team because
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in electric transmission system maintenance
    
    
  • 
    Broad knowledge of transmission maintenance practices for high-voltage apparatuses, AC and DC distribution equipment, protection and SCADA systems, transmission lines, and Right of Way, facilities and fleet equipment
    
    
  • 
    Knowledge and understanding of applicable NERC compliance standards and electric utility business operating practices a plus
    
    
  • 
    Pass a 7-year background check
    
    
  • 
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
    
    
  • 
    Have experience working in a CMMS software such as Maximo, SAP, etc
    
    
  • 
    Be able to work within the requirements of a regulated utility
    
    
  • 
    Effectively manage multiple assignments occasionally under time constraints
    
    
  •
