Employment Type: Direct Hire Category: Information Technology Job Number: 23630 Job Description Information Security Officer - Location: Austin - Why this company: - Join a people-first organization that has a reputable mission in giving back to their communities - Prime time to join a company in growth mode and still be visible to make an impact - IT team is collaborative, welcoming, and has a family-oriented nature - Competitive, negotiable compensation based on abilities and impressive 10% 401k match - Opportunity to influence the business and provide elegant security solutions Key Responsibilities: - Design and enforce policies and procedures that protect the organization's computing infrastructure Identify vulnerabilities and collaborate with the department to resolve them, ensuring that the network and data remain secure - Develop the Information Security Program and subsequent control framework and report to the Board of Directors and Senior Management on the status - Manage the Information Security Risk Assessment (ISRA) and mitigate identified security risks through implementation of technical security controls, training, and/or process enhancement - Define and measure enterprise Information Technology compliance with defined policies, standards, and guidelines - Evaluate and recommend security solutions - Engage with management to understand new initiatives, IT and other departments to understand the flow of information and the risks to that information - Participate in industry-collaborative efforts to monitor, share, and discuss emerging security threats - Qualifications: - Expertise in Cyber & Information Security, Data & Program Analysis, and -Incident Response - 5+ years of progressive experience in Disaster Recovery, Information Technology Risk, and IT Standards and Controls - Financial industry background is preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Information System, Information Technology or Cyber Security - Strong communication abilities across all levels of organization - -
