Position Description:

We are searching for an End-User Computing Administrator. The EUC Administrator is part of a team that is responsible for the overall coordination and control of all End-User Computing services. The EUC Administrator is responsible for management and troubleshooting o f various EUC solutions. The EUC Administrator will also handle escalation of support tickets from the help desk and other infrastructure teams. Will assist with product rollouts, upgrades and special projects supporting the user community.


Day-to Day-Duties and Responsibilities:

Working in our hybrid work design (3 days a week in the office, 2 days a week remote) you will:

- Manage the desktops, mobile devices, and peripheral devices used to support access to and use of business systems.

- Maintain ownership of assigned duties related to various EUC services and the systems that support these services.

- Provide third-tier support and training for Customer Support.

- Enhance security protocols through design, server hardening, and remediation of detected vulnerabilities.'

- Develop and maintain technical documentation

- Track all demand in the bank's ITSM tool.

- Communicate changes to management and end-users as a ppropriate.


What You Bring to the Team:

It's an important role that covers many skills. This position requires a n Associates Degree, or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or two (2) or more years' experience in computer hardware and software support. Prefer experience in supporting End-User Computing Systems including Windows desktop operating systems, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and PC Lifecycle Management (PCLM) tools. MCP Certification would be desirable. Our ideal candidate lives within a commutable distance from our office and appreciates the value of the hybrid work design.

Strong functional knowledge in the implementation and support of at least three (3) of the following disciplines.

- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) - VMware Horizon

- Desktop as a Service (DaaS) - VMware Horizon Cloud on Azure

- PC Lifecycle Management (PCLM) - Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM)

- Cloud-based Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) - Microsoft Intune

- Mobile Device and Application Management (MDM and MAM) - Microsoft Intune

- Hardware and Software Asset Management lifecycle - ServiceNow, Lansweeper

- Audio/Video Conferencing - Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams

Functional knowledge with the following skills.

- OS and application patching

- Application packaging and deployment

- Microsoft 365 apps (Office)

Functional knowledge in these technical skills.

- Desktop and server operating systems (Windows 10/11 and Windows Server)

- Technical writing of procedures and Knowledge Base articles

- Active Directory services including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and DFS

- Endpoint Security

- Monitoring and Alerting tools

- Thin Client management
