turn large amounts of unstructured conversation data into insights
that fuel smarter decisions, improve business performance, and
ultimately increase bottom-line growth.Tethr is looking for a Head
of Content to drive content marketing programs that generate
awareness and directly impact the success of our company. You'll be
an integral part of the team that delivers the Tethr voice to the
market and will be a crucial contributor to our company's growth.To
excel in this role, you are:
- A natural storyteller with outstanding speaking, writing, and
editing skills.
- Passionate about the content creation craft - creating
compelling user experiences through thoughtfully produced short and
long-form content.
- A creator with a publishing mindset - you will be responsible
for creating the content our audience is looking for and optimizing
the path to conversion.
- A social media native, completely comfortable with developing
content appropriate for various channels with an innate
understanding of maximizing engagement.Key responsibilities
include:
- Research and create search-optimized content, including blog
posts, website copy, white papers, sales collateral, customer
success stories, video content, and more
- Support a consistent voice for Tethr content that ties to our
brand style and point of view on the market and that is optimized
for search and an easy user experience
- Own a content calendar aligned with Tethr's messaging
strategies, ideal target personas, and campaign efforts. You'll be
responsible for ensuring that we deliver frequent, quality content
to the blog
- Monitor web traffic, engagement, and social metrics to gauge
best practices and performance
- Work with Tethr's data science, product, and customer success
teams to uncover insights from customer data and create compelling
content to highlight the insights
- Source various subject matter experts, including internal
resources and external influencers, to develop content as
needed
- Create content and post to Tethr's social media accounts,
primarily LinkedIn and Twitter, and help identify, track, post, and
comment on trends and relevant conversations on social media
- Help build the content strategy for nurture and other
communications programs to generate and advance leads through the
sales funnelWhat we're looking for:
- To be considered for this position, include a compelling cover

- 5+ years experience in content marketing, product marketing,
journalism, or similar creative role
- Excellent writing and grammar skills with solid project
management skills and attention to detail
- Deep understanding of SEO and how to develop content that
ranks
- Previous experience working at a high-growth, B2B software
startup where you enjoy juggling multiple priorities
simultaneously
- Professional team player with solid communication and
interpersonal skills
- Experience and comfort engaging with/interviewing customers and
subject matter experts
- Advanced user of social media tools and technologies,
especially LinkedIn and Twitter
- Webflow knowledge and experience are highly preferred. HTML,
CSS, and video editing knowledge are a plus. -
- Comfortable using Google Analytics to monitor traffic and
content success
- BS/BA degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism,
