Position Overview Warranty Specialist - Medical Aesthetic Devices/Capital Equipment The Warranty Specialist is responsible for managing the entire warranty sales cycle. The Warranty Specialist is the main point of contact for both sales representatives and customers who have questions regarding a medical device warranty or serial number inquiries. The agent must conduct their work activities in compliance with all Allergan internal requirements and with all applicable regulatory requirements. Allergan internal requirements include compliance with ethics, environmental health and safety, financial, human resources, and general business policies, requirements, and objectives. Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Create warranty quotes and provide updated quotes, as needed
  • Create warranty contracts and processing payments
  • Proactively contact customers when their warranty is up for renewal
  • Processing Recertification MSAs
  • Investigate, transact and realign all serial numbers (maintenance in SAP and Moxie)
  • Work directly with Technical Support on all Out of Warranty Serial Number issues
  • Coordinate system Preventative Maintenance (PM) Checks
  • Provide training for new and existing agents on the warranty process
  • Process 40/50 cases at various levels of complexity, carrying out responsibilities with minimum direction
  • Process customer transactions professionally accurately and efficiently and in compliance with company needs and degrees of modifications.
  • Researches, collects, compiles data for various reports and projects, with limited supervision
  • Follow oral and written instructions using independent judgement to obtain accurate information at various levels of complexity
  • Think clearly, act quickly and apply logic to solve problems swiftly by providing best-in-class customer service
  • Evaluate problems and exercise sound judgement in making decisions in accordance with established regulations and procedures
  • Complete all ongoing required training modules and have a clear understanding of all available tools and resources
  • Perform other related duties as assigned Skills and Abilities
    • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize with excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to research and investigate using multiple databases
    • Manage and analyzing data to find solutions
    • Ability to be proactive, take initiative and make decisions
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SalesForce.com
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
    • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and changing processes
    • Work without supervision Preferred Requirements:
      • 3-5 years of Customer Service experience with medical devices, capital equipment, or similar
        • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
