Online team is looking for a motivated and driven Project Lead to
support initiates within the Desktop Support team. The Desktop
Support team is responsible for hardware and software support
end-to-end-purchasing, testing, repairing, deployment, end point
security, troubleshooting-and innovating down to the details to
improve processes and experiences along the way. Projects may be
global and include direct interaction with a broad variety of
technical and functional personnel throughout Apple. Direct
responsibilities include product documentation, Mobile Device
Management strategist and Retail Online desktop project leader.
Budget planning, purchase order and inventory tracking will be
required along with interfacing across various technical, business
and finance teams. Key Qualifications * 7+ years experience
providing software and/or hardware technical support, with
expertise in MDM and security protocols * Experience authoring
technical process documentation * Knowledge and use of project
management tools and methodologies. * Excellent written and verbal
presentation skills. * Demonstrable ability to partner and
collaborate across teams to implement strategic plans. * Ability to
manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating priorities,
and initiatives * An amazing team player with a positive demeanor
who builds relationships quickly throughout all of Apple * Self
starter and can work with ambiguity Description Develop and
complete project plans, documentation, and schedules for multiple
simultaneous projects within our team. Collaborate with Desktop
Technicians to evaluate hardware and solutions and work directly
with partners to ensure purchasing and implementation of hardware.
Drive initiatives with the team from approval, through strategic
development, production to completion. Monitor project scope,
schedules and risks. Work closely with leadership and operations
teams to define requirements, implement and ensure hardware
standards within RCC. Partner with each site's Desktop Support team
and Finance to forecast and budget spend quarterly/annually.
Conduct effective meetings, document progress and track action
items. Connect with key individuals in global timezones as needed.
Lead ideas to improve how information is tracked, reported and
presented within the desktop teams worldwide. Education &
Experience Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience PMI PMP
certification a plus Mac Hardware Repair Certification JAMF
Certification or experience is a plus
