healthcare services and reduce costs.About the roleThe Business
Content Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Medicaid Management
Information Systems (MMIS) is a remote business development role
that builds strong customer value propositions into our solutions
and proposals. Associates in this dynamic role leverage their
business subject matter expertise to craft compelling and accurate
proposal responses and solution narratives. The SME will work with
business and technology teams in the collaborative development of
healthcare solutions focusing on MMIS , provide subject matter
expertise to the solution or proposal team, and create proposal
content to document the processes and technologies needed to meet
client objectives. Efforts span the entire business capture and
proposal lifecycle including solution planning, section planning,
writing, writing coaching, validating proposed solutions, editing,
continuous improvement, and other pursuit enablement functions to
enhance Conduent proposals. Responsibilities
- Provides operations and product subject matter expertise for
Medicaid MMIS services
- Works with solution architectures and pursuit teams to define
operational service and product functionality solutions for new
business opportunities
- Creates RFP responses and proposal narrative that is accurate,
cohesive, compliant, compelling, client-centric, and free from
errors
- Reviews and edits proposal content to ensure adherence to
writing standards
- Defines strategies for prioritizing and sharing information
from technical and business SMEs to the broader pursuit team
- Accurately translates technical knowledge and requirements into
clear and concise communications that emphasize business value to
clients
- Communicates effectively (oral and written) in all aspects of
the role
- Able to manage multiple RFP responses simultaneously across
bidsRequirements
- 5+ years' experience in MMIS delivery/operations, product
management, implementations, account management, or similar
- 3+ years' experience in with RFP or RFI responses, proposals,
related business writing, technical writing, and/or similar pursuit
development functions
- Has hands on experience with a multitude of healthcare and
Medicaid business and technical services in commercial or
government environments across all phases of the program
lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience in implementation or operations of the
following key areas: claims administration, financial services,
electronic data interchange, medical or clinical management,
eligibility and enrollment, provider management, member management,
project management, quality, and administration of a variety of
health and human services programs or other core functions of MMIS
or Modules
- Highly proficient writer and editor of proposal and
presentation content
- Expert oral and written communication
- Proficient using Microsoft SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint,
Teams
- Education: Bachelor's or equivalent professional
