Job Description:
Right at Home - Austin - We are looking for the best
Sitters/Companions in South Austin, TX, willing to work at a
healthy and happy environment, with a competitive pay and to start
working as soon as possible!!
Schedule: 7 am - 7 pm (Sunday /Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) (48
hours available)
Base pay: $16 an hour
SITTER/COMPANION MUST HAVE A STRONG WORK ETHICS, AND A CAN-DO
ATTITUDE!
A Sitter/Companion Essential Functions:
- Provide personal assistance and/or health-related services to
patients/clients in their place of residence.- Provide a safe,
clean, and comfortable environment.- Work cooperatively with the
patient/client and family.- Report observations and problems to the
Supervisor.
A Sitter/Companion duties:- Provide companionship to client.-
Provide preparation of meals.- Light housekeeping.- Assist with
bathing, dressing, grooming.- Provide transportation. (Valid DL
required)- Promote positive, supportive, respectful communication
to patient/family and other employees.- Provide an environment
which promotes respect for patient, privacy and property.-
Demonstrate effective time management skills.- Report unsafe
conditions and problems to agency management.- Demonstrate
commitment, professional growth and competency through attending
required in-services.- Promote the Right at Home philosophy and
administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
