Mid Cybersecurity Specialist

With availability to travel to Dallas, Charlotte and Virginia (we'll cover the costs), located in Austin.

Job Description:

Oversee the central system a platform (Operational Back-Office (OBO), Commercial BackOffice (CBO), Business Intelligence and Reporting (BI), and the OT system, all of them are being used as the core solution to operate business in US concessions. Recognize the importance of digital products, IT services, IoT and the information generated by all process on business activities. The operational risk that any cyber-threat represents is well known, so the idea es to mitigate it, reduce the possibility of a successful cyber-attack to prevent important damage to the business revenue by including cybersecurity specialists in the day-to-day of operations.

Customer is a Spanish corporation leading the highway concessions in the US.

They have:

- EDR solution for almost 900 servers in all concessions (IT/IoT).

- Security Operation Center in Austin.

- SIEM + SOAR solution in all concessions

- IPT Security Implementation in all concessions.

- Cybersecurity Procedures in place.

- Some of the tools they are using are: OBO, BI, TSM, Carma, ITS, RTFP, ATMS, APDS, CBO, CRIS, CVE, Ruck, NextPass, Decker, AIVIA.

Responsibilities:

- Identify:

o Asset Management:

Inventory including vulnerabilities.

o Risk Assessment:

Help to identify any possible cyber risk.

o Risk Management:

Help to control or mitigate the cyber risks.

o Supply Chain Risk Management:

Identify the risk represented by any provider.

- Protect:

o User & Access Control:

Control the different access to the assets including corporate request.

o Awareness and Training:

Collaborate to explain the cyber risk to the users.

o Data Security:

Identify sensitive data and help to improve the security.

o Information Protection:

Help to maintain the secure configuration on IT/OT.

- Detect

o Anomalies and events:

Help in the detection of any anomaly or cyber event.

o Vulnerability Management:

Coordinate the systems scan and enforce the solution to vulnerabilities.

o Security continuous monitoring:

Help the SOC team in the cyber monitoring.

o Detection Processes:

Perform verification to detect cyber issues.

- Respond:

o Analysis:

Help in the analysis of any cybersecurity events.

o Improvements:

Aid to improve the cyber process to response any threat.

o Mitigation:

Help in the development process to mitigate risks.

o Response Planning:

Help in the elaboration and/or improve the cyber response plan.

- Recovery:

o Improvements:

Aid to improve the recovery plan / process.

o Recovery Planning:

Help in the elaboration and / or improve recovery plan.

- Other:

o Cyber Architecture:

Work with the security team to implement the best cyber architecture.

o Collaboration with SOC:

Daily collaboration with SOC.

o Cyber Documentation:

Document any cyber architecture and event.

o SLAs:

Provide information for SLAs.

o Reports / Dashboards:

Help in the elaboration of the cyber reports and dashboards.

o Enforce cyber procedures:

Help IT teams on a daily basis to monitor cyber procedures.

o Audit Support:

Collaborate on Cybersecurity audits.

o Diana Archer:

Work with the concession and the company to provide evidences for the cyber controls assigned to each concession.

Mid Profile:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

- + 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity.

- English and Spanish is a plus.

- Good communication skills.

- Teamwork.

- Planning and organizing.
