Job Description:
Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, Global Sales Operations team is
looking for a Data Scientist, Global Sales Operations to work in
the New York, NY area with Hybrid or Remote options.The Data
Scientist, Global Sales Operations role will be pivotal in
improving our business intelligence and applied data science
maturity within our business. We are looking for an experienced
Data Scientist that has a track record of planning, developing,
optimizing, and implementing data structure and analytics for sales
and retention metrics across many technology platforms to support
our sales organization - primarily in North America but potentially
across all the Global businesses in the Tax and Accounting
Division: North America, TeamMate, Tagetik, Europe, Asia
Pacific.This role will be incredibly innovative and have creative
license to build a data science strategy within the broader
analytics function for Global Sales Operations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES+ Creation and implementation of a data science
strategy within retention for the TAA Global organization+ Provide
leadership in one or more areas of Data Science and Power BI
development that includes operational program management, design
analysis, documentation, and business adoption+ Perform analysis of
sales, commercial, and operational processes, recommend
opportunities for process unification, simplification, and
re-engineering where appropriate+ Serve as liaison between senior
leadership and Analytics / Engineering roles to identify,
communicate, and execute on requirements over roadmaps that span
1-3 years+ Present and teach data science concepts to business
stakeholders, with an eye to best practice sharing on current
data-centric approaches to solving sales business challenges+
Contribute to the long-term planning and strategy for developing
strategies that incorporate global economic and other external data
sets into commercially focused Analytics and Data Science
disciplines+ Develop, execute, and measure through data success
metrics, a global sales system onboarding program and design
processes for scale and efficiencies+ Develop and measure key
performance metrics that highlight the impact of our programs+
Leverage tools and software to increase efficiencies and
incorporate innovation+ Create and oversee the communications
strategy for the key data and programs to a wide variety of
stakeholders+ Build and maintain strong relationships and
collaborate with key members of the Sales Management, Enablement,
Analytics, Engineering, and Marketing teams along with the extended
members of the sales teams+ Lead and support sales enablement
initiatives as required to include data structure strategy,
planning and execution to solve complex challenges and keeping line
of sight to performance data+ Create and maintain Customer Journey
Maps and use to identify data metrics to track for KPIs of the
presales, sales, and implementation of the customer journey+ Create
regular reports to track and communicate progress to key
stakeholders+ Coordinate resources and deliverables timely to
ensure successful achievement of timelines and objectives+ Create,
improve, implement, and enforce sales operational processes and
policies to drive consistent and measurable success in the Sales
organization+ Create process documentation, user guides and
communications to the sales force.OTHER DUTIESPerforms other duties

requirements.QualificationsEducation:Minimum: BS in data science,
statistics, economics, computer science or other quantitative
field. Advanced degree preferred.Preferred: Master's Degree in
related field.ExperienceMinimum Experience: 5+ years' experience in
a data science role(s) in career to date. Ability to talk
thoroughly about projects implemented and value imparted on
business through data science.Preferred Experience (includes
minimum):**A candidate who has a demonstrable track record in
applied data sciences within a sales and retention organization is
preferrable.****Knowledge of a, or suite of, data science tools and
IDEs: Python, R, Anaconda are examples****Experience in Sales,
Sales Process, Project Management and Process
Improvement****Knowledge of Power BI (a selected global BI tool for
the team) - architecting solutions, DAX, report building, use of
Power BI Service, DataFlows/Data Marts, RLS****Knowledge of
Salesforce, and its associated architecture****First-hand
experience with progressive sales automation systems and
demonstrated ability to improve sales productivity, based on use of
sales automation****Excellent project management and
detail-orientation skills****Understanding of the mindset and
training and retention concepts that are most successful with
sellers****Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
with stakeholders in all departments****Ability to learn quickly
and work independently in a busy fast-paced environment****Ability
to pivot, when necessary, without sacrificing quality****Superior
communication, writing, and presentation skills a
must****Experience supporting Global software organization with
data strategy****Cross Cultural experience for Global operation
programs****Knowledge and experience in Tax and Accounting Industry
and with corporations: office of CFO****Knowledge of a, or suite
of, data science tools and IDEs: Python, R, Anaconda are
examples****Knowledge of applied data science algorithms:
regression, clustering, ANN are examples. Ability to thoroughly
describe applied uses of these algorithms.****Power
