management career at IBM.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM is
looking for a Global Offering Leader Multi-vendor Portfolio who
must be passionate about pro-actively finding ways to address IT
support challenges facing market. In this role, you will act as an
entrepreneur, strategist, technical visionary, cross-functional
team leader, and client advocate. An Offering Leader has to lead a
team of Offering Manager on four primary responsibilities: (1)
Understanding the market and competition (2) defining the new
offering to address that market (3) building a business case to
ensure financial objectives are being achieved, and (4) managing
its development, launch, and ongoing improvement. The Offering
Leader will lead a diverse cross-functional team's actions as the
market authority, acting like a "General Manager" for their scope
of the business. The employee focuses on individual/team objectives
and development of professional effectiveness.This position is
responsible for the Technology Lifecycle Services Multi-vendor
portfolio, which spans both support services for OEM platform
products Servers (like Dell, HP, Oracle), Storage (like DELL EMC,
HP, Hitachi), Multi-vendor Software (Microsoft, Suse,Red Hat, Open
Source, Oracle) as well Technology Services around products and
technologies. The IBM multi-vendor business is both very mature and
diverse. The multi-vendor offering portfolio requires
modernization, consistency, and new hybrid offerings that can be
executed and sold more effectively globally.In this role, you will
make heavy use of Mural, Slack, Box, Aha, MS PowerPoint, Excel to
execute our team duties. Our work is Agile and driven on iterative
sprints. This individual must be flexible, adaptable, and willing
to adopt these and any newer technologies that are part of the IBM

Professional ExpertiseAt least 3-5 years or more of OM experience,
responsibility for researching, developing, and managing the
lifecycle of service-related offerings. The offering development
has been executed with "client-focused" methods. Execution of IBM's
Sponsor User Program is a requirement.At least 7 years of
client-related experience either in an offering, business
development or sales role.Knowledge of Data center environment
dynamics and operationLeadership: must have extensive (5+years)
leadership experience, leading matrix-based teams that include
people from around the world (different backgrounds and
cultures).Negotiation: Must be able to articulate and empathize
with other businesses and offering management leaders and have more
than 5 years of experience driving stakeholders towards
compromise.Act as change agents and champion strategic initiatives,
partnerships and acquisitions.Work collaboratively with development
leaders, product architects, service planners, delivery and key
customers to appropriately package features into offering releases
and ensure offering designs reflect business objectives (e.g., by
creating quarterly roadmaps, monthly release plans).Regularly
participate in overall functional program planning (e.g., for
offering content, usability, schedule, and quality)Articulate
market dynamics to the broader offering team.Develop and execute
roadmaps, business models and go-to-market plans.Drive customer
validation through beta programs and client meetings, confirming
requirements are addressed by the delivered solution.Preferred
Technical and Professional ExpertiseTechnology proficiency in
Support Services and/or Business Development is a strong
preference.Negotiation with third parties: The candidate should
have excellent negotiation skills but is preferred to have
experience negotiating requirements or contractual obligations with
third party partners/suppliers.Problem-solving: Learn to follow
given procedures and processes to identify job-related problems,
analyze causes using existing techniques or tools.Enterprise Design
Thinking: Have extensive experience using and acting as a
facilitator of Enterprise Design Thinking practices.Experience in
applying agile methodologies to encourage team collaboration,
creative design thinking and innovative ways to develop to current
and future market needs.Proven interpersonal skills while
contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as
neededAmbitious leader who can work under self and team to achieve
agreed targets/goals.Demonstrate leadership, people management,

are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The
salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience
