Job Description:
PLEASE NOTE: The next start date will be in February 2023. -The
core mission of the Business Development role is to create, foster,
and propel the beginning of the pipeline for our sales and
procurement departments. The successful candidate's focus will be
to engage with potential customers and vendors to learn the
pitfalls they encounter within the protein industry while
attracting them to the proven solution that Marcus Technologies
provides.Outcomes
Provide an enjoyable level of interaction with prospective
customers or vendors
Work effectively in a culturally diverse workgroup
Ability to execute 40+ outbound Cold Calls per day while being able
to connect with decision-makers
Manage, track, and report on call lists
Learn and execute Sandler Sales Methodology
Meet the weekly quota of activities (calls, emails, new customer
usage, and booked appointments)
Data Focus:
Dedicated time to extracting, analyzing, interpreting, and
inputting data
Capture information in a concise and organized fashion
Lead creation
Become familiar with products in the protein/meat sales
industry
Direct possible customers and vendors to the appropriate members of
the team
Probe segments of the industry to provide feedback for sales
strategies
Request Referrals
Keep lists/data up-to-date weekly
Train if the need arises
Communicate clearly with all departments

$40,000 annual salary plus $20 per appointment set. Our office is
located in Austin, TX, however, we are willing to look at remote
US-based candidates for this role.*PLEASE NOTE: The next start date
