Job Description:
With safety and quality workmanship as a priority, the
JobSuperintendent oversees the job site installation of the audio,
video,network, and lighting systems, as sold and to the
satisfaction of thecustomer. The job responsibilities include:
managing a crew of 2 to 6installers; pulling wire; harnessing
racks, patch bays, mixing consoles,cameras, and video displays;
erecting and disassembling scaffolding;installing equipment;
testing and trouble-shooting wiring and equipment.The successful
candidate is driven by quality customer service and isseeking a
long-term employment opportunity. A personal interest
inelectronics, music, sound, lighting, network computing, video,
and/orsecurity systems is preferred.Qualifications:
- Five Years Experience in Audio-Video or like Industry
Preferred
- Ability to Travel Required
- Prior Experience with Commercial and/or AV Installation
- Proficient in the use of Basic Hand and Power Tools
- Ability to Solder and Crimp Connectors (XLR, RJ45, TRS, BNC,
andF-CONN)
- Ability to Read and Interpret Construction and AV Drawings
- Audio DSP Platform Certification (Ex. Biamp, ClearOne,
Polycom)Preferred
- Video Processing Platform Certification (Ex. Extron,
Jupiter,Christie) Preferred
- Control System Platform Certification (Ex. AMX, Crestron,
Extron)Preferred
- CTS or CTS-I Certification Preferred
- PC Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Basic Electronics Knowledge or Training
- Associates Degree in Electronics or Construction
ManagementPreferred
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Must Possess a Valid Drivers License With Clean Driving
Record
- Ability to Work at Heights, on Lifts and Ladders Required
- Prior Supervisory or Management Experience
