ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Comprehensive consumer chart audits for HCS, TxHmLv and ICF/IDOn-site and Mock surveys for regional offices as assignedTechnical assistance/consultation to areas as neededMonitoring corrections to chart audits and on-site visitsAssistance to the areas during state surveysPolicy/training development as neededTracking and reviewing incident reportsOn-site visits to group homes, foster care and SHL homesMaintain a good working relationship with Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), Local Authority (LA) and Service CoordinatorsParticipate in DADS workgroups, meetings or training sessionsParticipate in LA workgroups, meetings or training sessionsPerform other duties as assigned.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to be calm in stressful situations.Must be able to follow oral and written direction.Must be able to adjust in changing priorities and the various details of the job.Must maintain a punctual and good attendance record.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in a related field (i.e. Social Work, Psychology) with minimal of one year of experience working with people with Developmental or Intellectual Disabilities, or in a related field preferred.Working knowledge of state rules and regulations of the HCS, TxHmLv, CDS, CFC and ICF/ID programsMust be at least 18 years of age.Must possess a valid driver's license.Must be able to effectively communicate (read, write and understand) in English.Criminal history must meet or exceed company standards at the time of hire and be maintained at this level throughout employment.Must be willing and able to submit to random drug testing throughout employment with good results.
