Job DescriptionThe HT Group is currently helping to provide talent for a Korean based company with a new plant in Taylor, TX. We are in search for a qualified Purchasing Assistant for an immediate opportunity today! Don't miss out on a great opportunity to work with one of the premier brands in technology and the semiconductor industry today!Job Duties:The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for documents management of contract & payment, bonds, and others which are required in procurement process.

• Supplier management including evaluation and registration to the SRM system
• Review suppliers' documents for procurement such as a proposals, terms and conditions, etc.
• Monitor payment schedule and manage supplier payments
• Manage surety bonds and guarantees (Request, receipt, review, renew, etc.)
• Assist in procurement and all phases of contracts
• Working with purchasing managers and assisting in various projects as assigned
• Record/document receipts from vendors and payment execution monitoringRequirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of formal engineering or construction training and at least 7+ years of construction experience required
  • Bilingual speaker (English, Korean) highly desired
  • Familiar with various construction materials, characteristics, suppliers/manufacturers, and local market dynamics
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office programs
  • SAP (ERP) experience strongly desired
  • Ability to communicate and interact with employees at all working and management levels
  • Negotiation's skills, excellent communication skills and ability to manage many tasks
  • Ability to build effective relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendor personnel
