Job Description:

The NVIDIA Operations organization is seeking an experienced technology professional for the position of Data Engineer to support initiatives to develop E2E Data Systems, Reporting, and Analytics. As a Data Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Operations team building the E2E Data Systems to identify, align and create a data platform to turn data into actionable insights and business results.What you'll be doing:Develop and implement the new End-to-End Data systems for our Strategic Sourcing initiativesBuild data pipelines to transport data from a data source to the data lakeAnalyze and organize raw operational data including structured and unstructured dataBuild data systems and pipelines ensuring that data sources, ingestion components, transformation functions, and destination are well understood for implementationInterpret trends and patterns by performing complex data analysisPrepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling by making sure that the data is complete, has been cleansed, and has the necessary rules in placeBuild/develop algorithms, prototypes, and analytical tools that enable sourcing teams to make critical business decisionsWhat we need to see:Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information System, or equivalent experience7+ years of relevant experience including programming knowledge (i.e SQL, Python, Java, etc)Experience architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses/data lakes for complex data ecosystemsExpert in data and database management including data pipeline responsibilities in replication and mass ingestion, streaming, API and application and data integrationExperience in developing required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources using AWS, Azure, SQL or other technologiesExperience with several ecosystems like Azure, AWS, and Hadoop environmentsHighly independent, able to drive key technical decisions, influence project roadmap and work effectively with team membersStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyKnowledge in operational processes in chips, boards, systems, and servers with a view of data landscapeWith equal opportunities, competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers!
