Job DescriptionShearman & Sterling is seeking a mid-senior level
Associate with M and Venture Capital experience to join the firm's
Tech practice group. The Austin Tech practice involves the
representation of venture capital-backed companies, strategies,
private equity and venture capital funds in financings, public
offerings, M transactions, formations, operations and corporate
governance matters and securities law reporting and compliance
matters.The ideal candidate has 3 - 5 years of Venture Capital/M
experience and strong academic credentials. Experience with venture
capital-backed companies is strongly preferred. Additionally,
strong writing, communications and interpersonal skills are
required. The candidate will have an almost immediate opportunity
to take on a significant role in transactions. A J.D. from an
ABA-accredited law school is required.Location(s)Austin
