Learn more at www.samsung.com/us/sas.**Role and Responsibilities**Responsible for overseeing material sourcing for Tool Hook projects which may include, but are not limited to supplier sourcing, price negotiation, supplier management, and contract negotiation.Analyzes complex data and provides internal customerSeeking highly motivated individual with a high level of initiative, flexibility, customer service, and a strong attention to detailEffectively communicates via verbal/written means to immediate team and other departmentsSpecific Job Duties:Lead strategic fab and support project material planning related to new and retrofit construction.+ Develop, review, and approve SAS site construction specifications related to material.+ Provide technical guidance to contracted design teams during facility construction design for review and approval of materials for construction.+ Spare Parts Buyer.+ Negotiate pricing/terms for spare parts.+ Conduct annual contract renewal.+ Facilitate Procurement workflow.+ Lead 2nd source project.+ Analyze internal customers request and issue RFQ.+ Manage SCM risk.+ Global Supplier Relationship Management (GSRM) Representative.+ Review and approves new vendor registration requests.+ Evaluates vendor reliability and develops new supply sources as needed.+ Maintain relationship with supplier and monitor supplier performance (i.e. On time delivery, pricing competitiveness, Material Quality).+ Evaluate suppliers annual performance.+ Participates in audits. Updates policies and procedures manual.+ Support adoption of new procurement systems and processes.+ Workdays and Shift - 1st shift M-F, 8am -5pm.**Skills and Qualifications**Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum # Years Required:+ Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.+ CPM, CPSM or CPIM certification a plus.+ Minimum 5 years in related field.+ Self motivated individual with high level of initiative, flexibility, customer service, and a strong attention to detail.+ Clear and Concise Communication (written and verbal).+ Problem solving and initiative to take control and resolve issues quickly.+ Strong business acumen and sense of ownership.+ Analysis experience and high level reporting skill.+ Knowledge on Semiconductor materials a plus.+ Experience with SAP preferred.+ Leadership experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools:+ Working knowledge of IBC, IFC, and other codes and standards applicable to tool design and construction.+ Experience managing and leading projects.+ Ability to read and understand design plans, shop drawings, and equipment specifications.+ Familiarity with design and installation of facility equipment, or design and construction of industrial buildings.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills are required for communication of technical information to diverse audiences.+ Aptitude for documentation and data analysis using MS Office programs.+ Ability to learn custom and internally developed software programs and to interface with programmers to develop and manage databases.+ Reliable and punctual attendance is required.+ Permanent right to work in US and ability to work overtime / on non-scheduled days as required.* Please visit Samsung membership (https://account.samsung.com/membership/pp) to see Privacy Policy, which defaults according to your location.
