We manage patient education, navigation and acquisition campaigns for some of the largest, most dynamic wellness and health brands in the world! We connect patients in need to providers that care.Job Description:83bar is seeking an experienced Engagement/Experience Strategist to help develop, pitch, then execute successful, ROI-driven patient activation campaigns for life science products and brands. The ideal candidate is equal parts: strategist, marketer, communicator, and consultant with a knack for simplifying complex problems and selling others on their vision. This role will report to the VP of Patient Activation on the 83bar Solutions Team.The ideal candidates will have experience developing or pitching B2C marketing and digital communication strategies in the pharma, patient recruitment, CRO or general healthcare industry.You will be responsible for:

  • Understanding our client's strategic goals and needs—as well as their patient's goals and needs— via independent research and collaborative discovery calls
    • Developing ROI-driven patient activation strategies utilizing 83bar technology and services to satisfy client goals and needs
      • Serving as a consultant to internal and external stakeholders throughout the pitch, contracting and campaign development processes to ensure your vision is achieved
        • Evaluating potential client's products or brands to identify strengths and weaknesses in their positioning, demand generation, patient education or engagement strategy
          • Evaluating clinical trial protocols to understand how studies will be conducted and the patients that will need to be recruited
            • Leading client discovery calls to further understand the client's strategy and to better understand both the client and their patient's needs and goals
              • Working within client and/or internal budgets to map out end-to-end omni-channel patient recruitment/activation campaigns that accelerate awareness, consideration and conversion stages utilizing 83bar technology and services, including:
                • Demand generation via online surveys, forms, click-to-call numbers, live chat or other tools
                  • Outbound or inbound nurse contact center
                    • Live chat
                      • Highly configurable HIPAA-compliant marketing automation platform that is interoperable with client CRMs and external vendor systems
                        • A suite of additional products and services ranging from online physician finders, eConsent for clinical trials, medical records collection, patient portals, provider portals and more
                          • Constructing wireframes, service design blueprints, personas, swimlane documents and/or journey maps to identify customer points of friction and opportunities and to translate a complex set of interactions and touchpoints into a meaningful and clear patient activation strategy
                            • Scoping projects, defining measurable KPIs and providing input on demand generation forecasts and pricing
                              • Converting insights into clear narratives and visually compelling presentations for senior audiences.
                                • Preparing then participating in or leading bid defenses, solution presentations, campaign pitches and other client-facing meetings
                                  • Working with internal and client partners to determine the correct approach to test, pilot, validate and scale customer experiences in the marketplace
                                    • Working across 83bar departments with multiple stakeholders to provide consulting, planning, and leadership through contracting, campaign development and execution.Required Skills/Abilities:
                                      • Ability to work in a fast-moving agency environment
                                        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
                                          • Ability to present to senior-level stakeholders confidently
                                            • Familiarity with digital marketing and demand generation best practices
                                              • Deep understanding of patient behavior and engagement, including key KPIs such as ROAS, ROI, conversion, etc.
                                                • Ability to analyze, interpret, then make recommendations based on data
                                                  • Ability to conduct independent research as well as understand and translate complex scientific information
                                                    • High proficiency with excel, google suite, journey mapping tools (LucidChart, Miro, etc.)Education/Experience:
                                                      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, required
                                                        • Experience working in a highly regulated environment, preferably in healthcare
                                                          • Experience planning and/or executing healthcare marketing, education or engagement campaigns
                                                            • Knowledge or past experience engaging customers or patients with live agents via chat or outbound/inbound call centers
                                                              • Experience mapping the end-to-end customer or patient experience journey and identifying critical moments that drive value or create obstacles to both the customer and the business
                                                                • Experience bridging digital and non-digital products and services
                                                                  • Knowledge of MarTech platforms and digital tools, including CMS, CRM, and marketing automation.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
