Job Description:

Outdoor Voices is looking for a Senior Designer to lead the design process from concept to creation. You will directly affect the growth of our business by ensuring a creative and well-defined design language for the brand. Responsibilities

• Support the design direction through style creation following the seasonal roadmap concept presentation
• Manage a team of junior designers
• Manage adherence to our product creation calendar and process
• Provide seasonal fabric and trim development direction detailing aesthetic and technical requirements
• Collaborate with the Technical Design team through the fit process to ensure expression of fit is achieved for each style
• Build relationships with partners across the business including Raw Materials, Merchandising, Planning, Sourcing, Tech Design and Marketing
• Research on a regular basis to be at the forefront of trends and shifts in the Activewear and Fashion landscapes, and all parallel and influential industries Qualifications
  • 6+ years apparel design experience
  • A creative eye and genuine curiosity for thoughtful opportunities to connect with our customer
  • High taste level with a strong sense of color and style
  • Deep knowledge of silhouettes, fabrication, color use, sewing techniques, graphics, and trim
  • Ability to travel for research and product development
