and we need a dynamic Import/Export product classification and
trade compliance expert to help steer our growth. We're proud to

What You Will Be Doing
Administer Trade Compliance policies, procedures for import/
export
Develop, refine procedures for trade compliance programs, ensure
corrective action processes to comply with global import/export
regulations, Perform product classifications ( Harmonized Tariff
Schedule codes (HTS), Export Commodity Classification Numbers
(ECCN)
Ensure compliance with origin, origin labeling determinations,
Customs valuation, trade agreements eligibility, Ensure compliance
with business processes (submitting to/obtaining from U.S.
government necessary export/import licenses, permits,
certifications)
Adhere to global trade compliance standards, HTS code planning,
valuation, origin determinations, labeling, and C-TPAT
compliance
Support company strategy for export control, emphasizing company-
wide compliance with export control regulations International
Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration
Regulations (EAR), Foreign Trade Statistical Regulations)
Work cross-functionally in development, improvement, implementation
of global trade compliance policies &processes
Coordinate with departments to conduct internal training on trade
compliance, Support trade compliance risk assessments/ audits,
investigations and/or remediation
Update Trade Compliance Manual & Trade Compliance policies, as
needed, communicate with government agencies CBP, etc. as
needed
Address custom compliance related queries from affiliates, internal
departments, trading partners, third parties.
Prepare internal reports for leadership, Perform ad hoc projects,
duties as needed
What You Need for this Position
5+ years of experience global trade compliance (Import/Export,
Classification, and Special Trade Programs)
Experience w/ HTSUS, CROSS, ACE and ITRAC, other agency products
required for Customs/import compliance and procedures
Advanced knowledge of U.S. and Non-U.S. import and export trade
compliance processes, policies, and controls.

Microsoft Suite, Google Docs, global trade management software, ACE
