Job DescriptionWylander is recruiting a National Account Business Development Representative for one of the industry's fastest growing member organizations. This group is made up of the largest and most capable property restoration service providers throughout the nation.The National Account Business Development Representative position involves an understanding of the property restoration industry. This position will be responsible for developing relationships with restoration companies for the purpose of joining the organization.Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary plus commission (Earning Potential: $120,000/ yr +)

  • Paid Time Off & HolidaysResponsibilities:
    • Travel on-site to conduct sales presentations, distribute literature and marketing materials, and answer questions about features and benefits of membership
    • Function as an effective member of the management team and representing the sales function in all planning efforts regarding membership sales.
    • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
    • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
    • Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications.
    • Identify potential new markets and customers
    • Insure up to date documentation of all sales activities, results, customer and partner information, and sales routes and territories
    • Develop existing accounts and maintain phone and in-person contact
    • Track and report significant changes involving the economy, markets, and competitive landscape related to the company's services
    • Maintain effective communication and strong working relationships with insurance industry, trade associations, community contacts, partnering contractors, and others who may refer potential customers to the businessRequirements:
      • 5+ years of related sales experience
      • Must be able to build social relationships and professional networks within the industry
      • Strong existing network of contacts in the space is a plus
      • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
      • Strong communication and negotiations skills
