Compass is looking for an Instructional Designer who will provide creative and technical expertise in building interactive and engaging learning solutions to the Customer Support organization. We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of the learning systems and design principles involved in creating digital and in-person learning experiences, rooted in subject matter expertise, that ultimately create a better customer support experience.

At Compass You Will

  • Utilize instructional design, adult learning principles and innovation strategies in the conception, design and development of Instructor-led and eModule training experiences
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts on course design and development to translate business content and new product launch information into learner-centered experiences
  • Apply fundamental research skills to instructional design projects
  • Create new hire training materials for various support areas
  • Examine training products to see that they reflect an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners
  • Design, create and oversee the creation of a variety of materials utilizing various tools
    What We're Looking For
    • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years' experience in instructional
    • Experience creating learning materials both inside and outside of an LMS
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage projects, deliverables, and workload, with a varying degree of complexity and difficulty
    • Communication and relationship-building skills, as this role requires cross-functional collaboration with diverse
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Ability to set and communicate clear
    • Ability to work effectively and achieve results in ambiguous
