Primary Location: United States – Texas (Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston) Job DescriptionDrive share of mind and share of market for Anheuser-Busch (AB) by joining Advantage as a Business Development Representative. Work is performed in in-store, restaurant/bar, hotel and other hospitality environments and some weekend event activation required. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each workday doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 74 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated sections). The use of proper safety practices when handling the products is essential.Driving is an essential duty and function of this job and therefore must be able to maintain a valid and current driver’s license. What do you need to qualify?BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.3 years of relevant field Sales & Marketing experience; with expertise at networking, selling, and interacting with diverse groups of both internal and external stakeholders.Personal computer and home internet access.Proficiency in Microsoft platforms including Word, PPT, excel, Outlook.Proficiency in using mobile devices (e.g., iPad®, smartphone) and online communication. techniques (email, posting, texting, etc.).Ability to pass a drug test.Prior experience working in traditional retail (CPG) and/or bars and restaurants or the hospitality industry. What will you do?The Business Development Representatives will develop Anheuser Busch’s brands in Emerging Channels, including non-buy luxury residential and gyms/fitness accounts alongside distributor partners and the local Anheuser Busch team to ensure the successful sale, volume growth, distribution, brand presence, and positioning of the AB portfolio.The components of this multi-faceted job include working with non-traditional accounts that allow AB brands to engage consumers away from the traditional point of sale, execute consumer activation that increases ripple effect into the on- and off-premises, including but not limited to the following.Collaboration & Integration: Support cross-functional touchpoints within the assigned territory, which includes but is not limited to the brand stakeholders, trade marketing, sales, consumer insights. Analysis and Reporting: Lead the analysis and reporting of market and competitor trends to identify salient business issues/opportunities, working with regional sales/marketing teams as necessary.Research: Perform analysis/construct research programs and derive implications to ensure marketing programs/expenditures meet KPIs. Consistently seek to improve the existing programming.Competitive Analysis and Implications: Assist with the development of the Strategic Brand Review by analyzing category opportunities, identifying key consumer targets, innovation opportunities, and activation strategies.Consumer Engagement: Schedule and execute brand tastings; targeting key consumer demographics.Territory Development: Identify and prioritize key places, occasions, and events for premium consumers in local market. Schedule and execute account calls within territory daily; including key stakeholders at times when they can be leveraged properly against business imperativeHow will you succeed?Achieve and/or exceed monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Develop solid rapport with Advantage/AB field management teams, wholesaler partners and key accounts.Frequent and consistent communication to all key stakeholders.Exhibit exceptional time management, flexibility, accountability, and work ethic.Taking responsibility for actions and performance results; and being open to discovering and overcoming personal barriers via coaching from upper management.Where needed, able to work unconventional hours for brand events (occasional evenings and weekends).
