Job Description:

Essential Functions + Assists customers with loan payments and or questions + Answers telephone calls directed to Loan Operations + Utilizes FCM imaging system + Keeps all files in order, including pending drawer, note jacket drawer, and collateral drawer + Processes loan payments, loan advances/draws, etc. requested by the customer in person, email or instructions from the officer (with officers signed approval) + Review imaged loan documents for quality of and/or missing documents + Assist customer with the signing of the loan documents, giving copies, and processing the funding of the loan + Set up ATF/ACH+ Performs other duties as assigned, which could include job tasks listed below Loan Processing + Opens Loan Operations mail and prepares the loan payment transaction and maintains the mail log book + Processes loan documents for the loan officer and borrower using the FLO Loan Platform with information on the loan worksheet + Prepares entries to be posted (GL tickets, online posting, wire out forms) + Prepares and processes title transfers on autos, boats, etc. + Prepares and processes extensions for loan customers when instructed by Loan Officer + Keeps loan log up to date + Prepares UCC filings, continuations, and amendments + Prepares and processes the Notice of Action Taken, denials, withdrawn applications + Reviews signed documents for missing signatures from customer or loan officer + Uploads and processes new or renewed loans (book the loans to the IBS core system) + Uploads participations, lease, loans on the core system + Performs file maintenance on any fields, which are not up-loadable from FLO + Places holds on Certificate of Deposits and Savings Accounts used as collateral on loans + Process AFT/ACH setup on system Loan Funding + Review signed loan documents for customer signatures and officer signatures + Review loan for required documentation + Review for any and all errors + List on the worksheet all items needed and approvals needed + Initial the loan worksheet for funding + Handle the billing and posting of municipal loans Loan Tracking + Sort the loan statements to be mailed + Track required loan documents + Track commercial insurance policies and expiration dates + Scan loan documents into FCM + Track new and renewed loan files for collateral items + Process paid loan history + Review uploaded loans for errors + Annually review the note jacket drawer to remove any loans that have been paid or renewed which were not removed earlier + Review expiring UCC report and renew UCCs, as needed Required Knowledge Skills, and Abilities + Knowledge of the Core System, Imaging System, Internet, and10-key calculator + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook + Demonstrates attention to detail + Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner + Pursues training and development opportunities, sharing knowledge with others + Ability to deal with difficult or emotional customer situations, responding promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance + Focuses on solving conflicts, maintains confidentiality, listens to others without interrupting, keeps emotions under control; remains open to others ideas, and willing to try new things + Speaks clearly in positive or negative situations.
