Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist 1 in Austin, TX. Responsibilities of the Quality Improvement Specialist:

  • Quality Improvement Specialist will primarily on the phone with providers requesting medical records, over 200,000 medical records with a 90% goal.
  • Documenting work in portal
  • Quality Improvement Specialist documents outreach to providers (16 per day, may change)
  • Will be using Excel, vendor portals/proprietary software First day for the Quality Improvement Specialist 1:
    • 8:30 AM IT training on day 1
    • Welcome call with leadership
    • Training with staff
    • One-on-one shadowing with team member
    • Generally 2-week training period (will start on the job after week 1) Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:
      • High School diploma or GED/equivalent
      • Customer Service experience, call center not required
      • Attention to detail
      • Excel experience
