Minimum qualifications: * 6 years of professional communications/marketing experience in a business, media, entertainment or tech environment * Experience ghostwriting and crafting stories * Experience working with executives and leadership Preferred qualifications: * Experience crafting focused stories aimed at an internal audience * Experience with reactive messaging and deciphering complex issues in real-time * Excellent team player, with the ability to meet project deadlines with exceptional attention to detail * Excellent verbal and written communication skills (e.g., video, graphics, or other multimedia) About the job The Go-To-Market (GTM) Activation team at Google Cloud thrives in that sweet spot between creative instincts and research-driven strategic insights. You will create clear, concise narratives from a multitude of areas, and incorporate feedback from many sources into a single document while not losing narrative focus. You will be a trusted adviser to the organization, helping resonate and build trust with our audience and leadership. Responsibilities * Develop content for programs and functions affecting the entire GTM Strategy and Operations organization (e.g., emails, presentations, and audio/visual media). * Understand Sales teams' needs and strive to create and deliver the right messaging, through the right channel, at the right time. * Interact with and influence executives, while providing advice that reflects an understanding of their business and leadership/communication style. * Build and deliver activation plans that integrate into the wider Google Cloud communications strategy, taking ownership of tactics, outcomes, and measuring their impact. * Manage aspects of wider project plans to ensure internal audiences receive clear communications during times of uncertainty and change.
