MuleSoft offers a range of products, from robust IDEs for developers, to low-code integration tools for business users.**About the Role**You'll work alongside a seasoned lead designer as a part of one of our core product teams. A team of engineers and a product manager will partner with you to craft compelling, usable experiences. The lead designer will mentor and guide you while leaving plenty of room for you to own your own decisions and drive your own user experience outcomes.Key Responsibilities:+ Crafting validated, usable, and accessible product designs using modern design tools (e.g. Figma)+ Continually collaborating with user research, product management, engineers, and project managers+ Consistently bringing a user-centered approach to solve design challenges and support business needs+ Thoroughly understanding our complex technical domain+ Giving and receiving feedback, early and often**Required Skills:**+ Demonstrated understanding of the end-to-end design process, including: user research, interaction design, interface and information design, and visual design+ Expertise in the craft of design with a portfolio showing some combination of user journeys, wireframes, visual design and prototypes.+ Demonstrated ability to keep the user at the center of the product development process+ Effective presentation and communication skills+ Experience with cross-disciplinary collaboration+ Basic awareness of Accessibility (Color contrast, Screen reader, ARIA markup)+ Basic awareness of front-end technologies such as HTML/JavascriptPreferred ExperienceDomain experience in enterprise software tools and software aimed at technical audiences (developers, IT operations, etc.) is valuable, but is not required.
