We Are Hiring:

Dell Children's Medical Center is hiring for a PRN RN-Case Manager for the Pediatrics Department! 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's of Nursing
  • 3 years of acute care experience
  • Pediatric and/or case management experience
 
Varying Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm; covering for full-time staff when they are out, as well as supplementing staffing on high census days. Weekend shifts available.

What You Will Do:

Coordinate the overall interdisciplinary plan of care for patient, from admission to discharge.

  • Create plan for care across the continuum, integrating patient/family preferences and values.
  • Monitor patient care through assessments, evaluations and/or patient records.
  • Advocate for resources and removal of barriers.
  • Maintain ongoing dialog with supervisor and other health providers to ensure effective implementation of health plan.
  • Act as a resource for adequate medical record documentation, appropriateness of services as they relate to diagnoses, and treatment options for post-discharge care.
What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
