About the Team

DoorDash is looking for People Managers at Manager, Senior Manager and Director level within Sales Strategy & Operations. You will lead teams who will help establish our sales strategy roadmap, improve sales productivity and accomplish strategic projects that enhance sales productivity by allowing our teams to be more engaging in targeting and closing the most valuable partnerships at scale. You'll work between our sales, partner management, operations, product, and analytics teams to build the merchant foundation.

About the Role

Our sales and partner management teams are the heart and soul of DoorDash, helping us partner with top restaurants across the country to improve revenue and help our partners operate even better. As DoorDash grows both in scale and scope of offering, the strength of our sales engine and organizational structure must grow with it.

Doordash is in need of an experienced operator and leader to continue building the team. This will include writing and building go-to-market playbooks, revenue optimization, strategic projects to enhance productivity, process and comp design, product roadmapping and launches, resource allocation, and pipeline analytics.You will play a leadership role within an amazing sales organization that's scaling quicker than we've been able to keep pace with, and we're looking for someone who's excited to build from the ground up. You will require prioritization and data-driven insights to ensure the team is working towards the right goals and has the tools needed to achieve them.


You will report into one of the Senior leaders on our Sales Strategy & Operations team in our Merchant Strategy & Operations organization.

  • Create and build projects against the sales team strategy for "winning the merchant"
  • Use data-driven insights to run sales tests and lead market intelligence efforts
  • Build the best merchant acquisition engine so DoorDash continues to offer the highest quality selection for its customers
  • Build models to evaluate the economics, value, and opportunity costs of strategic projects intended to multiply rep productivity
  • Manage projects with our sales, partner management, operations, product, engineering, business operations and BD teams to improve the merchant experience and achieve targets

  • You have 6 or more years of experience (hiring at different levels) in strategy and operations, business development, operations, or consulting;

  • 3+ years of direct people management experience
  • Experience leading projects, hitting goals, and succeeding
  • Provide applicable recommendations out of complex datasets; advanced SQL and Salesforce experience
