About the Role

DoorDash is looking for a Project Manager - HR Technology (Workday) to drive alignment across people, process, and technology projects that help DoorDash to grow at scale. You will collaborate with partners in HR Tech, IT, Recruiting Operations, and People Programs to achieve our goals in supporting and enabling HR Technology solutions built around Workday and the technologies that integrate with it.

This role can be based in any of our North American offices under a hybrid work model (occasional office meetings but work from home is allowed) and will report to the Senior Manager of HR Technology PMO.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Work with different partners to manage project delivery for plans that establish, sustain, or grow DoorDash's ability to scale operations using our HR Technology platforms (Workday, ADP, and others), focusing on high-volume, high-growth team performance.
  • Advise on prioritization and resourcing for projects within our HR Tech Roadmap, designing development sprints, tracking project health and statuses, and holding team members accountable for results
  • Work fearlessly in uncovering underlying issues or business problems and turn those issues into solutions within Workday
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure rigorous documentation maintenance of system requirements and configuration to build operational excellence
  • Manage testing plans, cutover plans, and post-production support activities

We're excited about you because…

  • You bring 4+ years of progressive experience leading technology and integrated HR Technology implementations or post go-live enhancements. You have at least 3 years of experience leading delivery of full-scope Workday deployments including multiple HCM products and integrations.
  • You have a BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields, or equivalent work experience and certifications in HR, IT, or Project Management
  • You foster relationships with your partners in HR, IT, and across the business. You know how to avoid risks and missteps, and address issues as they arise.
  • You are always looking for opportunities to learn and improve your output. When you see an opening for action, you take it or ensure the right people are engaged.
  • You flourish in a fast-paced, continually changing team-oriented environment, and are able to manage multiple deadlines concurrently
