Director of Development at Dell Seton Medical Center at The

Providence Foundation, is hiring an Executive Director of
Development at Dell Seton Center Medical Center at The University
of Texas. The position will lead the
development and implementation of policies, procedures and
strategies for fundraising activities
related to Dell Seton Medical Center.

What You Will Do:
Ensure that philanthropy and fund development are carried out in
keeping with the organization's values, mission, vision and

What You Will Do:
Direct the development and implementation
of policies, procedures and strategies for fundraising
What You Will Need:
- Collaborate with executive management on identification of
fundraising goals. Develop and implement plans for capital and
major fundraising initiatives.
- Prepare communications including the design, writing and
printing of brochures, newsletters, donor communications and annual
- Implement marketing strategies that will create a climate
conducive to major giving and increase the number of major planned
gifts and estate commitments.
- Prepare or assist with budgets and ensure compliance with
allocated funding. Coordinate and direct internal/external
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or
Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience required.
- 10 years of experience preferred.
- 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
- 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Strongly preferred Qualifications and
Healthcare or non-profit fundraising
Board or advisory group oversight
Proven track record in meeting and exceeding development
Team management and building
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced knowledge of donor solicitation cycle and moves
Demonstrated project management and problem solving skills,
including organizational skills to meet goals
What You Will Need:
Experience in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge (RE) NXT or similar
