The Cisco Secure Workload (Tetration) team is passionate about providing a security solution to protect customer workloads whether they are running in data centers, in the cloud, or a hybrid of both. Tetration gives customers a unified platform to monitor workload activity and identify the activity patterns to build Application Dependency Maps. Building upon this information, Tetration allows customers to carry out security policies as close to the workloads as possible, in order to achieve micro-segmentation and zero-trust security. [1] Must have skills: * Ability to provide technical consultative support to Cisco customers, partners, account teams and other internal technical support teams. * Ability to communicate, demonstrate, and accelerate the accurate utilization of security technologies as you encourage the customer to engage in the daily use of the Tetration solution. * Deep technical knowledge, with the ability to understand and connect customer use cases/plans with Cisco solutions and illustrate how Cisco solutions can be effectively applied in a customers environment to accelerate business value. * Ability to utilize moderate to complex lab environments to demonstrate the resolution of barriers across the entire customer lifecycle for Cisco security products & solutions. * Clear understanding of high-level business landscapes including key strategic priorities, processes, and competitive marketplaces * Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills that strengthen relationships with internal and external partners up to the executive level. Nice to Have skills: * In-depth hands-on experience with the following Cisco security solutions - Tetration. This in-depth understanding should enable you to remove barriers that prevent the customer from adopting Cisco security solutions. Additional expertise in Firepower, AnyConnect and ISE are highly desired. * Deep technical understanding of Cisco security solutions, including an understanding of competitive solutions. Required Experience * BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience * 7+ years of experience in technical consulting or direct customer interfacing roles, with a deep understanding of industry best practices related to the security domain * A deep understanding of key technologies and protocols in server and security to include Tetration, ISE, Firepower and AnyConnect technologies. * Experience with Windows operating systems, Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu), and container is highly desired * Working knowledge of software programmability, automation, orchestration and/or virtualization including Python, shell scripting (Bash and Powershell), Ansible, including Git, Kubernetes * Excellent troubleshooting skills at application, network and host operating system levels including understanding in IP tables, TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, SMTP * Good understanding of system/application security postures * Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills * Ability to function in ambiguous circumstances * Possesses customer consulting skills including the ability to build relationships with customers, engineers, managers and levels above * Must be a self-starter and able to demonstrate expertise on a broad range of technologies and delivery methods Why Cisco? #WeAreCisco, where each person is outstanding, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference powering an inclusive future for all.
