The Lower Colorado River Authority's Telecommunications group is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our team. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is up for the challenge of coordinating a multimillion-dollar project portfolio in a fast paced environment. Our portfolio is key to the success of our vision; provide high value connectivity solution and services to LCRA and Central Texas. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to enable strategic execution of a project portfolio by coordinating people and teams to work together with a shared purpose.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN THIS ROLE:

  • Ensure projects are better aligned to our strategies and resources are optimized across the organization
  • Work with leadership to identify impacts of project changes to the overall portfolio and resource availability
  • Develop and present portfolio performance information to leadership and key groups throughout LCRA
  • Provide insights and analysis for Telecommunications Business Plan and strategic initiatives

What you will do:

  • Provides strategic insights and recommendations for enhancing and developing new programs to senior management.
  • Ensures that strategic planning initiatives and projects are effectively implemented by forming teams to evaluate and implement.
  • Performs complex business case analysis and/or feasibility analysis on multiple projects.
  • Assists with research for, and development of, cost benefit analysis for various maintenance, rehabilitation and/or replacement options for specific assets, related to the strategic plan.

What qualifications you must have:

  • Nine or more years' experience in capital planning, decision-making modeling, operations and maintenance planning, financial management, project management and strategic business support.
  • A degree(s) in business, economics, engineering, finance, math, science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

What qualifications it would be nice for you to have:

  • Experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, business planning, project management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Degree(s) in business, finance, economics or relevant field
