The Clinical  Supervisor is responsible for managing the provision of intense and comprehensive home-and community-based behavioral health services.   Manage the delivery of these services through a team approach with a National Director of Clinical Services and  program service providers focusing on the individualized strengths and needs youth and family in accordance with evidence based standards. The Clinical  Supervisor will be conducting assessments, including but not limited to diagnostic assessment to determine eligibility of services.


  • Ensures individualized planning, effective service coordination and management of care for all enrollees
  • Assures that services are provided in accordance with funding guidelines and are based on the specific needs of children, youth and families
  • Ensures family participation and opportunities to identify appropriate goals, strengths, and needs in the development of risk assessments, crisis plans and plans of care
  • Ensures development of a person and family centered individualized plan of care that specifies the goals and actions to address the medical, social, educational and other needs for the child, youth and family
  • Supervises and assists with planning activities, such as convening Youth & Family Teams, providing guidance and assisting as necessary with wraparound facilitation and plan of care development processes
  • Provides guidance, coaching and consultation for , but not limited to Care Coordinators, Wraparound Facilitators, Clinicians as they work with youth, family (or the child/youth’s authorized healthcare decision maker) and others to identify strengths, needs and goals of the child/youth and family as needed
  • Assumes the liaison role between government partners, program service providers and families in care planning and service coordination activities
  • Encourages staff development and provides training opportunities to support Coordinated System of Care principles and values
  • Ensures services are strength based, culturally and linguistically competent
  • Ensures participation of children, youth and families in planning and service coordination activities for the duration of enrollment
  • Assures that the individualized plan of care is developed with adherence to the National Wraparound Initiative standards and treatment planning requirements
  • Provides leadership in establishing a cohesive multi-systemic alliances among community stakeholders to assure that staffing, billing and interagency processes are working effectively and efficiently
  • Promotes services that are community based, evidence based and/or evidence informed
  • Submit claims in accordance to Medicaid/MCO’s process for services rendered to youth and families; following up on denied claims to ensure payment reimbursement is provided
  • Assumes monitoring and evaluative role involving all aspects of behavioral health services including: fiscal processes, claims management, payment management, quality assurance and quality improvement
  • Provide regular supervision to wraparound fidelity monitoring
  • Engages in outreach, recruitment and marketing activities to promote the program’s services
  • Ensures the program maintains financial health
  • Ensures the program and all staff are in compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and laws as set for the by the funder and all other licensing governing boards
  • Be in good standing with their respective licensing board

  • Maintain open and consistent communication with National Director of Clinical Services.
  • Maintain all required trainings and certifications.
  • Travel as needed for trainings, meetings and conferences.
  • Initiate and maintain effective communication with all program staff members.
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
  • Able to work weekends and evenings as required and/or needed

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree with specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related fields is required.
  • Licensed in respective fields (to include, but no limited to: LPC,  LCSW, LMFT)
  • Supervisory experience in monitoring and quality assurance of behavior/case management, budget management, personnel management, conflict resolution, culturally diversity awareness, overall office management, group or family counseling youth services, residential, educational or institutional settings and advocacy.
  • Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license, registration and maintain state mandated car insurance.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc), variety of online database systems
  • Possess good verbal and writing skills.
  • Clear background check from appropriate entity
  • Posses reading, writing and speaking bilingual skills, be fluent in English and Spanish

Must be able to obtain First Aid Certification (CPR). Must be able to verify client’s whereabouts by driving, sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time. Daily use of various office equipment. Bending, stooping, climbing up stairs and lifting up to 15 lbs. required to complete daily tasks.


This is a program which requires daily contact at various client locations. Work shifts are subject to change. Noise levels vary from mild to moderate. This position may require extended periods of time in an automobile. Exposed to prevalent weather conditions.
