Job Description:

*Long-term temporary assignment payrolled via an agency*..........................Import / Export Administrator* Audit TEA import transactions, specifically: review product valuation, HTS classification, County of Origin determination* Process export transactions using Baan and NISA application; create export commercial invoice* Audit TEA export transactions for completeness and HTS, ECCN, License, Value, COO accuracy* Promptly communicate any shipment errors to team members- Submit export data through the US Census Bureau - Automated Export System for TEA export transactions* Create departmental data sheets and shipment reports* Create import and export transaction SharePoint file folders, update metadata* Assist with other administrative tasksExperience / Requirements* Bachelor Degree (BA/BS) degree is desired, associates or HS degree is required.* 1 year of administative experience required* Excellent analytical skills and ability to problem solve- Detail oriented - needs to be able to follow and adhere to internal processes and procedures* Ability to review international shipment documentation and determine invoice accuracy* Basic clerical skills required (e.g. file folder creation / file maintenance and storage)* Excellent Microsoft office skills (Excel and Access are most important)* Possess excellent cross functional and teaming skills / customer interface skills* SharePoint skills preferredPhysical Demands and Work ConditionsThe physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds.
