Job Description Job Description Salary: $22-25 per hour Warehouse Operations Supervisor Reports to:Warehouse Manager Employment Type:Hourly, Full-Time Schedule:Fixed shift; overtime required during peak seasons (including weekends as needed) Pay Range:$22$25 per hour, depending on experience Job Summary We are seeking ahands-on Warehouse Operations Supervisorto oversee daily warehouse operations, including picking and packing, product bundling and assembly, quality control, and shipping and purchase order documentation (Excel-based). This role is highly floor-focused and requires active supervision, coaching, and accountability of warehouse associates to ensure fast, accurate, and organized order fulfillment in a high-volume e-commerce environment. For priority interviews with Austin Bazaar go to this link: https://austinbazaar.bamboohr.com/careers/38 Key Responsibilities Picking & Packing Operations Supervise and actively support daily picking and packing operations to meet shipping deadlines. Ensure correct item selection, accurate quantities, and proper packaging standards. Monitor and reduce picking and packing errors through training, auditing, and process improvements. Maintain high standards of speed, accuracy, and organization on the warehouse floor. Product Bundling & Assembly Oversee the assembly and packing of product bundles (kits) according to internal SOPs. Ensure bundles are assembled exactly as documented in bundle guides. Coordinate replenishment of packing materials and bundle components. Purchase Order & Shipping Paperwork (Excel-Based) Maintain and update PO logs, inbound and outbound shipment records, and shipping documentation using Excel. Track receiving activity, discrepancies, and inventory movements. Ensure all shipping paperwork is accurate, complete, and properly filed. Quality Control (QC) Perform quality checks on packed orders and assembled bundles prior to shipment. Ensure packaging meets company quality and branding standards. Identify recurring errors or defects and implement corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement to reduce errors and improve fulfillment accuracy. Team Leadership & Supervision Supervise, train, and coach a team of warehouse associates. Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity, performance, and attendance. Enforce SOPs, safety rules, and workplace standards. Conduct daily shift briefings to align the team on priorities and expectations. Issue disciplinary write-ups and provide termination recommendations when necessary. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment. Forklift & Warehouse Equipment Operations Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required to support daily operations. Step in to assist with equipment operation during high-volume periods or staffing gaps. Ensure associates are following proper equipment safety procedures. Identify unsafe equipment use and enforce corrective actions. Assist with training new hires on safe equipment operation and equipment-related SOPs. Additional Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the warehouse floor. Ensure proper handling and storage of inventory to prevent damage or loss. Enforce safety standards related to lifting, equipment use, and aisle safety. Train new hires on safety procedures and warehouse SOPs. Communicate with operations and customer support teams to resolve shipment issues. Support process improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and consistency. Performance Expectations / KPIs Success in this role will be measured by: Order accuracy rate On-time shipping performance Productivity benchmarks Reduction in errors and QC issues Team performance and adherence to SOPs Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience, including supervisory or lead responsibilities. Hands-on experience with picking and packing operations. Experience maintaining Excel-based shipping, PO, or inventory documentation. Basic Excel proficiency (data entry, logs, filters). Ability to follow and enforce SOPs, checklists, and documented processes. Strong leadership, accountability, and communication skills. Forklift experience required. Preferred Qualifications Forklift or warehouse equipment certification (preferred but not required). Experience in a fast-paced or e-commerce fulfillment environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or shipping software. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Willingness to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons.
