This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile cases and projects within the construction and energy sectors. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in handling complex construction defect law cases, construction claims, and construction litigation. In addition, they will be well versed in energy law and business litigation, demonstrating a deep understanding of the legal challenges and opportunities within these sectors.Responsibilities:1. Provide expert legal counsel on a wide range of construction and energy matters, including construction defects, construction claims, and construction litigation.2. Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings, utilizing strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes.3. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to construction and energy projects.4. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on potential legal risks and to develop effective strategies for litigation and dispute resolution.5. Collaborate closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.6. Keep abreast of changes in construction and energy law, regulations, and industry trends to provide up-to-date advice to clients.7. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.2. Admitted to practice law in the state of Texas.3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a construction attorney, with a strong focus on construction defect law, construction claims, and construction litigation.4. Proven experience in energy law and business litigation.5. Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.6. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.8.
