RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's Client in Austin, Texas (TX) is looking for a Technical Support Analyst to provide desktop support services to customers.
Responsibilities:* Installs, configures, troubleshoots, upgrades, repairs, and maintains desktop hardware, software, and client applications in accordance with agency standards* Identifies technology problems and coordinates with other technical and management staff to effect solutions* Continuous (> 75% of the time) hand, wrist, and finger movements when operating a PC, job functions performed indoors* Frequent (25%-75% of the time) client/customer contact, communicating outside of work unit, sitting, standing, twisting upper body, walking, bending* Occasional ( REQUIREMENTS:* Ability to stand/sit/move with no physical limitations or aids to perform activities such as retrieve/replace Desktop PC's and related peripheral equipment* Ability to learn, remember, and integrate complex concepts, difficult procedures, or complicated processes* Normal speech communication requirements - ability to communicate verbally with clients/customers to gather information &/or explain policies/procedures* Normal written communications required - ability to routinely record information such as draft correspondence / reports / documents / policies / procedures, conduct interviews and record information, prepare case narratives, or prepare other lengthy documents using handwritten or mechanical means* Ability to perform visual activities requiring prolonged attention to detail such as editing and proofreading* Working knowledge of Windows 10 such as, but not limited to how to change display settings* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Networking, such as the ability to verify network connectivity, ability to map network drives to verify network connectivity* Basic hardware troubleshooting knowledge such as the ability to determine why a monitor has no display* Basic mechanical ability to assemble computer equipment, or mount a monitor to a standing workstation
