Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Worldwide Partner Solutions Architect to lead technical engagement with our most strategic Semiconductor Partners. The Semiconductor Partner Solution Architect provides technical leadership across all semiconductor partner engagements, ensuring AWS maintains excellence in performance benchmarking, solution development, and customer demonstrations while serving as the technical authority for the organization. This role oversees performance benchmarking activities, drives industry-standard benchmark programs, and collaborates with partners and ISVs to generate credible, customer-relevant performance data. The Technical Lead works with semiconductor partners to design technical enablement, creating content including reference architectures and best practices. Your technical solutions and insights will shape how customers transform their cloud computing approaches for the AI era. AWS Partner Solutions Architects (PSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS Worldwide Specialist Organization, PSAs work with partners who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. PSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. Key job responsibilities In this role, you own technical strategy for AWS's semiconductor partners, working at the intersection of technology and business transformation. You'll collaborate with our largest and most strategic partners, helping them develop high performance architectures that deliver exceptional customer value. Your insights will shape both partner strategies and AWS's approach to compute technology. * Develop and execute industry-standard benchmark programs (STAC, MLPerf, SPEC, etc.) across AWS semiconductor partners. Collaborate with partners and ISVs to generate credible, customer-relevant performance data, ensuring technical accuracy and competitive positioning of all claims. * Design and deploy technical enablement programs for AWS field teams and partner organizations. This takes the form of reference architectures and solution briefs, demonstration environments showcasing EC2 instance performance advantages, and thought leadership initiatives including whitepapers, blog posts, and conference presentations * Working with semiconductor partners, lead solution development for targeted computing applications including HPC, AI/ML, and industry-specific workloads. Provide technical expertise for customer proof-of-concepts and pilot programs. * Collaborate with EC2 product and specialist teams on instance optimization and workload performance. * Share best-practice knowledge amongst the worldwide AWS solution architect community. * Identify technical differentiation for AWS compute offerings. Monitor competitive landscape and emerging technology trends. Through technical leadership, partner channel experience, and go-to-market expertise, we create repeatable models that empower both our partners and AWS field teams to deliver customer outcomes. - 5 years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields - 8 years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience - Experience working with end user or developer communities - Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields - Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients - Experience with AWS Services including EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS - Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship - Deep understanding of semiconductor architecture for large scale enterprise workloads in domains such as CAE/CFD, EDA, and financial services. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
