world. We’re committed to pushing boundaries and leaving our mark
as we reinvent the future of ecommerce for enthusiasts. Our
customers are our compass, authenticity thrives, bold ideas are
welcome, and everyone can bring their unique selves to work — every
day. We're in this together, sustaining the future of our

thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and
build communities to create economic opportunity for all. About the
team and the role: We are seeking to add an enthusiastic,
hard-working, and curious member to join our Enterprise Risk
Management team as a Manager, Corporate Compliance Risk . This role
will report to our Director, Corporate Compliance Risk Counsel and
will support eBay’s enterprise-wide compliance risk assessments, as
well as other periodic risk reviews and updates that help advise
the company on its legal and compliance risks worldwide. What you
will accomplish: Deliver an enterprise-ready compliance risk
assessment cycle by helping the team produce clear, repeatable risk
assessment outputs ( e.g. , risk register, heatmaps, prioritized
action plans) that enable leadership to make better-informed
decisions. Proficiency in the legal and compliance frameworks that
eBay operates under, including an understanding of AML/KYC
controls, anti-bribery and anti-fraud risks, and overarching
guidelines/standards for the operation and management of an
effective corporate compliance program. Support risk management and
mitigation efforts by supporting action planning and tracking.
Enable consistent, risk-informed training and communications by
helping build targeted learning experiences that improve
understanding and adoption in higher-risk roles/functions, with
measurable indicators such as completion rates and knowledge-check
results. Assist with conducting effective stakeholder interviews
and workshops that surface real operational risks, clarify owners,
and align on pragmatic mitigations. Grow your compliance and audit
toolkit at scale through exposure to enterprise risk methodology,
executive communications, metrics design, and stakeholder
management—building toward sophisticated responsibilities in
compliance program management, audit, or risk leadership. What you
will bring: 5 years experience in compliance, audit, risk, or
related operations for a comparably-regulated public company.
Ability to synthesize sophisticated information into clear,
business-ready writing (e.g., concise summaries, risk themes,
leadership updates) for cross-functional audiences. Prior
experience conducting fact-finding interviews and crafting
relevant, concise summaries of key takeaways. Strong analytical
skills and confidence working with metrics and data from sources
like training results, risk and enforcement trends, control
testing/attestations, and remediation status—then translating those
into actionable insights. Proficiency with AI tools and a passion
for identifying ways to optimize the risk assessment process using
evolving technologies. Nice to have: Relevant certifications, such
as CIA, CISA, CCEP, CRCM, CAMS (or equivalent) J.D. or equivalent
legal degree desired but not required. Specific experience working
for an e-commerce company, or similar entity with payments
processing capabilities and licensing. Proven understanding of
consumer protection frameworks and understanding of eBay’s
