for project execution mainly in the North American power industry.

As a PV Solar Technical Engineer, you will:
--- Perform as the Subject Matter Expert for PV SCADA Control
development, commissioning, and testing
--- Ensure PV SCADA and SCADA Control Execution is in compliance
with applicable NERC Standards
--- Lead renewable generation control system application design for
North American projects
--- Provide cross department technical support for new project
pursuits and product development
--- Mentor less experienced engineers on renewable control system
application design and commissioning
--- Prepare and maintain engineering plans and schedules
--- Support customer Factory Acceptance Test
--- Support site commissioning and Site Acceptance Test
--- Provide suggestions for improvements on products and
processes
--- Manage time effectively to meet schedule/commitments
--- Develop and maintain customer relationships
--- Monitor project financial performance
Who you are:

maintain effective customer relationships.
Required education, experience & skills:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, technical discipline, or
equivalent
Minimum of 9+ years' of power generation control system
applications experience
Experience in renewable energy systems, power conversion, energy
storage, PV and/or power systems control
Willing and able to travel up to 30% domestically
Legal authorization to work in the United States without
sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred education, experience & skills:
Minimum of 4 years PV SCADA controls development/testing
experience
Working knowledge of renewable resource operations with a minimum
of 4 years (direct or indirect via Engineering support) operational
experience
Understanding of renewable resource SCADA control schemes
including: Closed loop real power control, Automatic Voltage
Regulation (PI, Volt-VAR, etc), Primary Frequency Response, Fast
Frequency Response and industry requirements for these control
schemes
Strong understanding of NERC Standards, particularly: MOD, TOP,
VAR, PRC, IRO
Previous experience with Emerson's Ovation software and hardware
products
Flexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option
