Job Description:
The Senior Human Resource Business Partners serve as strategic
business partners who collaborate with senior leadership to support
and shape our people strategy by translating business goals into
actionable HR strategies and initiatives. This specific HRBP role
will be supporting Cognizant Intuitive Operations and Automation
Practice. The incumbent will report to the HRBP lead IOA in NA
covering 2 to 3 SBUs within IOA covering min 1500 workforce.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Acts as change agent to business through process design and
approaches that support change and transformation - striving to
lead mutual processes to best practice status.
Translating business goals into actionable people-centric HR
strategies and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, D&I,
ensure retention of top talent, and drive growth.
Partners with the leadership team to identify the most effective
organization structure, role charters and resource needs to ensure
optimal business growth.
Drive and support HR people processes including reward &
recognition, performance management, goal setting, promotion
decisions and compensation design/planning in collaboration with
COEs.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies
and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes,
and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and
employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required knowledge of US employment law
8-12 years of experience in progressive Human Resource roles
Sound business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving
skills, critical thinking, and analysis.
Ability to prioritize and balance between strategic and
tactical
Solid coaching and consulting skills
Culture and Change Steward
Great project management and execution skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including
presentation and influence skills
Ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships with
leaders, COEs, and offshore partners
Comfortable and adept working with Non-Exempt populations and the
people leaders of Non-Exempt staff
Experience supporting contact centers a plus
