We're looking for engineers who know how to write evolvable, properly instrumented, and efficient code and mobile interfaces that are clean and well structured.

Key Focuses:

• Design and implement features for the top rated mobile app for job search
• Participate in feature development from idea phase to feature release
• Write, test and instrument features in our mobile applications
• Help drive the innovation and evolution of ZipRecruiter Minimum Qualifications:
  • Expertise building mobile applications in Swift (our entire codebase has recently moved to 100% Swift)
  • Experience with iOS frameworks
  • Proficiency in Objective-C
  • Ability to write high-performance, well-designed, well-crafted, readable, and tested code in a team environment
  • Ability to build in multiple languages and the ability to pick up new languages quickly
  • Solid understanding of mobile application lifecycle, common software architectures and performance considerations when working with mobile devices. Preferred Qualifications:
    • Computer Science degree or sufficient experience at a company that has outstanding engineering practices
    • Experience developing, releasing, and maintaining an iOS app
    • Experience in mobile design patterns (MVVM, MVP) and building mobile frameworks / SDKs
    • You have experience with large iOS codebases and complex, high-performance apps

        The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$145,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
        
        Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
