Job Description:

• Provides technical consultation to solution delivery AMI programs and customer related to meter metrology. This include analyzes AMI data, validating data and searching for anomalies, usages, non/negative reporting, communication failures, recurring errors, and consumption; updates data for meter installations; researches and assembles information from a variety of sources. -
• Use expert-level knowledge of AMI infrastructure and process flow to collaborate with customers to propose and outline changes or improvements to both the technical and functional levels of AMI systems.
• Support customer factory acceptance testing on single-phase & polyphase self-contained and transformer-rated metering include special meter investigations.
• Build, develop and maintain reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics support that support key business decisions. Works with manufacturingto ensure AMI system administration is executed at the optimal level for current business needs with proper resourcing, etc.
• Lead and facilitate training plans and customer knowledge transfer.SummaryThe technical consultant (meter metrology) supports the solution delivery organization with AMI/meter-to-cash implementation.

  • Technical Skills -Skills and Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science with at least 10 years of experience.
    • Advanced knowledge of AMI Operations Technology
    • Solid technical background with experience in six or more of the following -preferred: -
      • Technical hardware architecture -
      • Linux/Unix Operating System -
      • Networking and topology / understanding of high-level network and security concepts, radio networks, firmware updates, Zigbee wireless protocols in and around 802.1x, FCC regulations
      • AMI Head-end Systems, Meter Data Management Systems and/or related metering systemsMy ProfileCreate and manage profiles for future opportunities.
