Infosys is seeking Senior Java DeveloperIn the role, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. The candidate can work from anywhere within the U.S. and/or be remote initially and be willing to relocate within 4 to 6 Weeks of joining. This position will require travel to project locations.U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology.Experience working in Java, Spring boot.Preferred SkillsAt least 5 years of experience in Java/2EE & DatabaseAt least 3 years of experience in Spring boot (or Spring), Restful web-servicesAt least 5 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environmentExperience in Financial Services domainExperience in applying modern Agile Software Development practices.Experience in development in a CI/CD environment and familiarity with CI/CD tools is required.Experience in leading a small team from technical standpointGood interpersonal and facilitation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Adaptability is a must, including the ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies quickly.Must be able to write technical design and build documentation for all aspects of a technical infrastructure.Experience in Microservices development.Experience with designing and developing solutions for highly scalable, highly available complex systems, preferably in the payment systems or other financial services industry.Strong problem determination skills and ability to resolve critical issues for complex systems under tight timeframes using dumps and other tools.Ability to multitask and handle multiple competing priorities with minimal direction from managementShould possess excellent planning and organizational skills.Ability to understand systems from all levels, from the "big picture" enterprise-level view to the low-level technical view.Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
