Specialist Position
Sunnova Energy is searching for a passionate marketer to elevate
the customer experience and drive the evolution of our website to
the next level.
The candidate will work within a team environment to create and
maintain several different product, business and market lines on
sunnova.com. You will work with a team of designers and
optimization specialists to define business requirements and build
efficient site pages to drive users down the marketing funnel. And
you will ensure efficiency, QA content and features thoroughly
before launch, and implement best-practices for keyword data and
SEO performance.
Web Specialist Responsibilities
The major areas of responsibility that the candidate will drive
include:
Build and Manage Web Experiences and Content:
- Builds Sitecore webpages using established content management
system (CMS) tools, templates, and web components.
- Creates and deliver day-to-day content, web edits, and page
layout changes that achieve business goals and adhere to corporate
brand guidelines.
- QA pages, content and user accessibility before releases to
production.
- Ensures pages are optimized for SEO, keywords, image
presentation, download speed, page structure, mobile devices, user
experience, and more
- Collaborates with multi-functional teams to achieve desired
website results and business performance goals.
- Creates and maintains documentation related to website
functionality and standards.
Evolve and Enhance the Web Experience:
- Develops and supports website and mobile marketing campaigns,
ensuring reliable and stable operations of website
applications.
- Ensures consistency, quality and accuracy in the web
development and publishing process. Prepare and optimize images and
videos for performance. Troubleshoot web-related operational
issues.
- Applies best practices in visual design, user experiences, and
conversion results.
- Makes recommendations to optimize site navigation and product
page templates based on site metrics, industry best practices
and/or business performance.
- Tests and validates online forms to meet operational needs,
collaborate with users to understand form requirements, and ensure
form data flows to appropriate systems.
Measure Results to Evaluate and Optimize Campaigns:
- Reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaign
tracking and analysis.
- Performs A/B testing to optimize website functionality,
usability and content.
- Conducts recurring reviews of the website to understand user
behaviors, maximize conversion performance, and identify
opportunities to improve UX/messaging effectiveness, product
positioning, and sell/cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
- Reports and presents data, results and insights from digital
programs and campaigns.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis on business, marketing,
information systems or web design
- 2-3 years' experience with website development, operations,
maintenance, content management, troubleshooting, and/or
performance reporting
- Hands-on experience and proficiency with responsive website
experiences, web applications, website operations, and web markup,
including HTML5 and CSS3
- Knowledgeable in JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks, website CMS
platforms, HTML/CSS, and URL structure & parameters
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-3 years' experience in the energy market, preferably with a
publicly listed company
- Proficient understanding of SEO, especially on-page and
technical SEO
- Familiarity with various SEO tools (SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming
Frog, etc.)
- Experience with Google Tool Suite (eg, Google Analytics, Google
Tag Manager, Google Search Console, etc.)
- Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite: Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, etc. and analytical thinking skills

- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and meeting
facilitation
